Why This Role: The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to join a best-in-class energy storage platform at the precise moment when market forces, regulatory drivers, and technology economics have converged to create the most compelling BTM BESS commercial opportunity the market has seen. Here is why this role matters:

  • The Market Is Now: U.S. data center power demand is quadrupling by 2030. Grid interconnection queues stretch 8 years in the most critical markets. $22–38B in large load BTM BESS value is expected to be deployed by 2030 — and the window to establish dominant market position is open right now.
  • You Will Own BTM Pipeline: This is not a middle-management role. The Director will have genuine ownership of the company's BTM/On-Site deal pipeline, go-to-market strategy, and customer relationships — with direct access to executive leadership, board-level visibility, and meaningful influence on the company's strategic direction.
  • Best-in-Class Team: You will be joining a team of experienced energy professionals who have collectively developed, financed, and operated gigawatts of energy assets. We are mission-driven, entrepreneurial, intellectually curious, and deeply committed to each other's success.
  • Societal Impact at Scale: BTM BESS for large loads is not just a commercial opportunity — it is a critical infrastructure solution for the AI economy and the energy transition. The work this role drives will power hospitals, research institutions, AI training clusters, and the digital infrastructure that the modern economy depends upon.
  • Growth Trajectory: As the company's asset base and platform scale, the Director role is designed to grow with it — into a VP or C-suite commercial leadership position for the right individual. We are building an organization for the long term and are committed to promoting leaders from within.

Company Operating Principles: GridStor's Operating Principles represent who we are, how we work, and what we believe. We Collaborate. We honor
